The 2008 Reunion Weekend Golf Tournament was won this year by a group of veteran players who return to Oneonta every year to participate in the tournament. Bob Gallagher ’75, and his team; Nick Thalasinos ’75, Kevin Murray ’76, and John McNiven ’75 consider themselves “the oldest living winners of the alumni tournament.” In the photo L-R: Nick, John, Bob and Kevin celebrate a great day on the course. On a more somber note, shortly after returning home from Reunion Weekend, Nick Thalasinos was in a serious bicycle accident during a charity ride to benefit Autism. We wish Nick well as he recovers in North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, NY. We also send best wishes to Nick’s wife, Joan Chvatal Thalasinos ’75 and their children, Allison ’09 and Gus, as they support Nick through his recovery.
